r*n #1233 Northfields - T.J.Duffys - Hare:Pope | Scribe:Curly

A reasonable sized pack turned out for this run, being from Duffy's at Northfields the trail was predictable that's why the hare thru in 3 falsies in the first mile, through Blondin Park(FT) and a loop through the nature area and into Windmill road for a check and another FT, not so many back checks as expected then down The Ride(no comment) with yet another FT up someone's back passage(no comment). The loop through Boston Manor park was interesting with Funky Gibbon leading the SCB's only to hit a temporary unscalable fence turning the short cut into a long cut! He got his reward with a down, down in the circle. Down more back alley's and on to Boston Manor tube station and down to the canal at the back of Elthorne park and some bloody short very steep hills. Back out past the park to Boston road.

It was then a long disjointed trek back to the hares back garden for a DS, being his 100th hare for West London, Bully produced a lovely trophy and presented it to the hare, it was a piece of plaster board sprayed partly gold with 100 written on it in marker pen and a roughly painted bag of flower which was duely throw over the hare by bully and a few others, Looberty added a can of beer, we only need a couple of eggs and we would have had a Pope cake. Most people made it to the DS but a few SCB's and the poor visitor didn't!

The rest of the night went by in a bit of a blur, but I do know there were some infractions for visiting, bringing bad weather, and wearing hats – down downs all around!

The pub donated 10 pints! So the down downs were many. The hare was dressed in an old skin tight tee-shirt marking his 100 hash so was obviously a better fit when he got it 20 odd years ago.
